Purified Beta-carotene
BETACOL is a highly purified and standardized source of beta-carotene with the main use being a food colourant with brilliant orange-red colouring. It has optimum stability and colour consistency against heat, light, and acidity. Additionally, research supports beta-carotene as a natural antioxidant and free-radical scavenger. Beta-carotene is also used for being a precursor of vitamin A.
