A Unique Enzyme Producer

BLIS M18 has unique enzyme producing abilities that allow it to digest dextran biofilm and neutralize acid in order support long term health of teeth and gums.  Limited numbers of S. salivarius strains, including BLIS M18, produce an enzyme called dextranase, which can help break up the biofilms produced by bacteria such as S. mutans. BLIS M18 also produces an enzyme called urease which helps neutralize acid in the oral cavity.
